The R1 is forged, not cast, from SP700 beta titanium, the purest and strongest titanium available today. This means we can make it stronger and lighter with the "trampoline effect" being at the maximum permissable of 0.83 C.O.R. which will still be legal after Jan 1st 2008.

The 420cc head (available in RH only) is one of the most forgiving we have ever produced. The huge sweetspot and low centre of gravity increases consistency and helps to correct spin on off centre strikes
